No and there is NO product right now that can claim that it kills or deactivates the virus because of how new it is. What we do know is that the EPA has listed products that can be used against SARS-COV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. We use the best products off the EPA’s list that we feel is most likely to inactivate SARS-COV-2.

Since there are multiple generations of Human Coronavirus prior to SARS-COV-2, disinfectants have been made to deactivate these older ones.  Since SARS-COV-2 is a new Human Coronavirus, these older disinfectants have not yet been laboratory tested.  If you saw any type of ads like this, then they are misleading and could possibly be called false advertising.  Be cautious of these types of claims as they are probably scams.

We have applications and programs to help reduce the impact of re-infection. Once we complete the onsite inspection and Risk assessment, we will suggest the best plan for your facility.

We use the safest products available to achieve the desired result. Remember, we are using these products or exposed to them every day. Our biggest concern is safety for all of us. We provide SDS sheets, as all companies should, of all the products that we use. Safety Data Sheets detail the physical and chemical properties of products and you should read them.  Although we use EPA registered products preferably, there are some applications where EPA approved products are not available. Just because a product is EPA approved does not mean it’s the safest application for your purpose.

Currently, there is no test for this virus because it is a new virus. What we can measure is how clean we made a surface using an ATP meter. ATP meters are widely used today in Health Care and Food Industries for measuring cleanliness. Other options such as viable swab sampling are available but this method still cannot provide a result for SAR-COV-2.

Bleach is a fantastic disinfectant for hard surfaces, but it also has many limitations. For example, bleach cannot be used on multiple surfaces like carpet, upholstery or draperies.  It’s also important to remember that janitorial cleaning is not the same as cleaning up after a BIO RISK  exposure or threat.  We are trained with the tools and experience and can validate the level of clean when we are done.  If bleach worked then that would be all that hospitals would use.

Our process will leave behind a microscopic layer that you cannot see or feel.  Because our equipment provides an electrostatic charge, the result is a monomolecular layer, or one layer of molecules.  And yes, for certain applications, depending on risk assessment, we can use a ZERO RESIDUE treatment where we would activate a controlled gas throughout the environment such as a Chlorine Dioxide Gas.   Please note, Chlorine Dioxide is completely different from Chlorine, and much safer.

We are happy to provide our certification or proof of training.  The training we receive dictate a protocol set forth by the CDC.  Some cleaning processes, depending on risk assessment, can include 6, 7, or more steps.  Once we inspect your facility we can determine what the process will be.

In most cases, yes.  HVAC systems are sensitive to cleaning agents.  Products that are used must be labeled by the manufacturer for HVAC use.  For example, you cannot use bleach in HVAC systems because the acidic nature of Chlorine is corrosive to the aluminum coils.

An ATP meter is the perfect tool for establishing that the environment has been cleaned.   The theory is that if a surface has been cleaned, which we measure using an ATP meter, then the risk of exposure has been greatly reduced.   We guarantee that when we are finished that your facility will meet the acceptable standards of cleanliness when using an ATP meter and these results, before and after cleaning, will be shared with you for full transparency.  If you chose to have your facility on our regularly cleaning program, your ATP results can be used as a guideline to strive for.

  1. Risk Assessment/ Evaluation.  Every solution must be tailored to every unique situation including an Pre Bio ATP bioluminescent reading to determine level of clean
  2. Pre-Disinfect. Not every situation requires a pre-treatment but this will be determined in the Risk Assessment
  3. Load Reduction: If there is visible contamination, load reduction is the removal and proper disposal of of the gross biocontamination
  4. Detailed Forensic Cleaning – GBAC® A two step process
  5.  A Post Bio test using ATP bioluminescent instrument to confirm that an acceptable level of clean has been completed.  Most companies will complete a post Bio Test, if it’s offered, after disinfection, but this is the required time to test so that you don’t “cover up” a dirty surface.
  6. Professional Disinfection: the most important step.  At this step we would apply a hospital grade disinfectant to your high touch surfaces.
  7. Application of long lasting surface ECO SAFE protectant that resists microbial load.
